Dr. Nashwa Al Ruwaini is the driving force behind Pyramedia, a name synonymous with success in the Middle East. Her journey to regional stardom began in 2005 with the launch of her eponymous talk show ‘Nashwa’ on MBC, quickly catapulting her to household fame. In the industry, she’s often described as a boundless source of energy, a wellspring of innovative ideas, and a formidable figure.
Born in Cairo, this media mogul, producer, and TV personality embarked on her illustrious career as the youngest Arab woman anchor at Qatar TV. Her journey led her to London and Cairo before she founded her consultancy and production company, Pyramedia, in 1998. Dr. Nashwa’s influence extends beyond media; she’s a member of the International Academy of TV Arts and Sciences and leads various successful ventures, including Aljoude Marketing and Publicity, Aljoude Investments, and Delma Medical Center and Spa, where she actively serves as CEO.
A dedicated philanthropist, Dr. Nashwa consistently advocates for the betterment of women and children in the Middle East. She heads the Nashwa Foundation, a charitable organization that has significantly impacted the lives of countless individuals in the Arab world.
